Disney Pixar Finding Dory Book Review

11 November 2016 by Eileen Leave a Comment

The Disney Pixar Finding Dory Book of the Film is an adaptation of the story of the film which features the voices and characters of the animated stars and 8 pages of colour pictures of scenes from the film.  We love this film and was so lucky to attend the premiere with Change4Life to watch it a week before it was on general release!

disney pixar finding dory book of the filmThis book is a paperback containing about 140 pages including the 8 colour pictures.  The font comes in one size.  It was released on 17th June 2016 and published by Parragon Books Ltd.  This book is easy to read and perfect for sharing and reading together.

The story is about Dory’s adventure as she looks for her parents!  Forgetful Dory is very happy living in the ocean with her friends, Marlin and Nemo. But one day, memories of her long-forgotten parents come flooding back to her. With the help of old friends and new, Dory finally discover her past and on an exciting journey to find her parents!

Mr K and Ms C watched this film many times and knew all the scenes.  They both enjoyed reading it and didn’t take Mr K long to complete the whole book.  If your child loves Dory, then they will enjoy reading this book!  It is available in good book stores and Amazon.

Inspired by the book, Ms C and I decided to do a Dory craft!  We had a piece of dark blue, yellow, white, black and pink paper!  Then I helped to draw the outline of the fish while Ms C cut out the shape of the fin and eye balls using different sized circle cutters.  Then she stuck all the pieces together and to make this cute Dory!  Don’t she look lovely!

Disclosure: I received the book from the publisher for free. However, they have not paid me for this review, and they do not exercise any editorial control over my review or anything else on this site. Contains Amazon affiliate link.
