ROBOFish Dory Coffee Pot

23 July 2016 by Eileen

This ROBOFish Dory Coffee Pot is a replica of key scenes from the Disney Pixar film: Finding Dory and is made by Zuru Toys.  If you have watched the Finding Dory movie, you will probably remember how Hank, the cranky East Pacific red octopus, used the coffee pot to transport Dory to reunite her with her parents.

This lovely coffee pot will be loved by everyone, me included!  I was super excited when I opened this up! The coffee pot is made from plastic and comes with a black handle.  It also includes swimming Dory with three extra batteries!

Once you fill the pot with water, simply drop Dory in and see how she swims! She will swim in all directions and it will turn itself off after a while. To wake her up, simple tap on the pot! She also comes with an exclusive yellow Marine Life Institute tag on her fin!

Dory is water activated and springs to life when in the water. Similarly, if you remove her she will stop, ready to be stored away until next time.  It is best to remove her from the pot after playing to avoid wasting batteries.

We love watching how she swims about in a very lifelike manner and exploring every inch of the coffee pot. My children love to pick her up and drop her in again!  It’s so much fun watching her diving.  This coffee pot will sit very nicely on the dining table or on shelves away from the direct sunlight.  As this coffee pot is made from plastic, it is always best to hold it by its base than holding it on the plastic handle, just in case it snap due to the weight of the water. Also this pot does not comes with a lid which means if children try to hold while walking, water could spill out so it is best to let adults handle the pot.

Besides Dory, you can also get Nemo, Marlin, Bailey and Marine Life Institute playset.  This coffee pot is available to buy in good stores and Amazon. Or if you prefer a real stove coffee maker, check out here.

Watch this video to see how Dory swims!

Look who is here! Is dory! Loving this dory in coffee pot! Robofish dory! #findingdory #robo #disney
