Beach Clubs in Uluwatu: Explore the Premier Destinations for Fun and Relaxation

10 January 2025 by Eileen

Uluwatu, located at the southern tip of Bali, is known for its dramatic cliffs, white sandy beaches, and challenging waves. In spite of its natural beauty, Uluwatu is also home to a number of exclusive beach clubs that are a popular destination for tourists looking to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with stunning ocean views.

Beach Clubs in Uluwatu Explore the Premier Destinations for Fun and Relaxation

Yep, I understand that you would rather surf in Ulu, but beach clubs come to the rescue when you need a little break and relaxation. Ready to explore some of the best? Then read on!

  1. Savaya

You can definitely see why Savaya is at the top of the list, right? Savaya is the most luxurious beach club in Uluwatu — located on a cliff with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. This beach club is known for its elegant design, with its infinity pool and The Cube, its rectangular icon that always takes centre stage.

It also hosts international music events, which always feature renowned DJs. If you want to experience a glamorous party atmosphere, Savaya should definitely be on your bucket list!

  2. Sundays

Located on the south coast of Uluwatu, Sundays gives you an exclusive experience with direct access to a stunning private beach. The soft white sand, crystal-clear water, and kayaking or snorkelling activities offered make this an ideal place to spend the whole day. Now all of these will give you a lot of things to do in Uluwatu, all in one place!

One thing Sundays lacks when compared to similar beach clubs is a swimming pool. But don’t worry; you have access to a wide, crystal-clear beach to swim in. Plus, they have Sunset Bonfires! You can lounge on bean bags and toast marshmallows over laughter with your mates.

  3. Ulu Cliff House

Now, here’s a place that combines art, music, and food in one complete package. As one of the best beach clubs in Uluwatu, Ulu Cliffhouse is also home to a 25-meter-long swimming pool that directly overlooks the ocean! You can swim while enjoying the gorgeous sunset from this spot.

Food-wise, they serve a menu inspired by international cuisine with a local twist. Plus, there are plenty of creatively crafted refreshments to choose from — what a perfect package for a perfect day.

  4. Single Fin

Single Fin is a popular spot among surfers and tourists, located on top of a cliff with a view of surfers riding the waves of Ulu, classic! You can sip on your favourite cocktail while enjoying the music or DJ sets that play eclectic beats from hip-hop to reggae. When it comes to sunset, this is one of the best hot spots.

Their menu is quite varied, from snacks like nachos to heavy meals like steak or seafood platter that you can choose from while drowning in its chill atmosphere.

  5. Palmilla

This chic beach club is not to be missed! Located on Melasti Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in south Bali, Palmilla takes tropical and bohemian vibes to another level! The azure pool, matching broken white daybeds with parasols, the view of the white limestone cliffs, and the palm trees surrounding the venue make it look aesthetic from all angles.

In line with the venue concept, their menu features tropical dishes like fresh seafood, salads, and a selection of refreshing cocktails. Its strategic location with ample parking makes it one of the most popular spots to relax all day over sunset.

Conclusion

Well, that’s the list of the Uluwatu beach clubs that you must definitely include in your itinerary. Each place has its quirks — you just have to choose based on your mood! Whether you want to focus on the party, a more luxurious, laid-back venue, or one that’s perfect for a romantic sunset? It’s all here!

So, are you ready to start your beach club adventure in Ulu?
