We are all feeling the cost of living bite right now, and with Christmas on the way yet again, we’re all feeling that pinch of a budget belt. Some people would never dream of shopping around at second hand stores and thrift shops to be able to get what they want for their families, but because of the cost of living going up so quickly, we are all turning to alternative methods to be able to afford even the basics. Most of us have at least one item that we’ve bought second hand, and whether that’s at a charity shop or from an auction, second hand items are now becoming more and more popular. This unfortunately means that a lot of charity shops are starting to put their prices up higher than ever before.
N Seoul Tower & Namsan Cable Car, South Korea
Day five of our South Korean trip was a Saturday and both my children wanted to have a lie-in. Hence we decided to take it easy and visit the local area instead. We were within walking distance (maybe 30 minutes) of N Seoul Tower and booked the tickets with Namsan Cable Car via Klook (costs £76.16 for four people). As the Wonder Trip ticket office only opened at 1pm on Saturdays, we had plenty of time to explore the nearby area before picking up the tickets.
Sichuanese Wontons in Chilli Oil Sauce with SousChef
Of all varieties of dumplings, wontons are the easiest to make. There is not much folding or pleating required. You simply fold them in half and seal it with just water. It is also very easy to cook in minutes as you don’t need to stuff too much filling in it. There are many ways to cook and garnish the dumplings. You can boil them and add sweet soya sauce, or deep fry them and dip with mayonnaise, or steam and mix with chilli. Either way, they taste great!
Are You Wearing The Right Shoes?
Although buying shoes might seem like a simple enough activity, things get a bit more complicated when you consider how many types of shoes there are out there, each with their own specific function. Shoes should be an investment, so instead of just wasting money on the first pair of shoes you like, do your homework, and spend your hard-earned cash on the right shoes!
B&M January Sales
Have you been to the B&M January Sales? They have got deals on everything from home deco to bedding at bargain prices! Now you can pick up some brand new home decor to freshen up your home for the new year!
We were so pleased to take part in this campaign and challenge ourselves to grab some bargain items at low prices using the provided £20 voucher. I have to say I failed miserably! I didn’t grab their bargains but instead I decided to spend it all on my children instead!
Monchhichi go on Tour
Did you know that Monchhichi has been around for over 40 years now? Monchhichi was first created by Mr K. Sekiguchi from Japan. He developed a human like monkey doll who sucked his thumb to become everyone’s friend and to deliver messages of peace and love around the world.
Trolley Bags Review
When I was asked to review Trolley Bags, the first thing that got stuck in my head was those granny bags that you bring out to buy groceries. I was so wrong! In fact, there are made up of four various sized reusable shopping bags that are used for packing your shopping at the supermarket checkout.
Nowadays, I tend to do scan as you shop as it is so much easier than getting your grocery out from the trolley and waiting at the checkout to pay. So I very much welcome this idea of using Trolley Bags.
When I received the trolley bags, my first impression was that they are quite bulky measuring 100cm x 20cm x 15cm (with 2 long rails on each bag) but fairly lightweight (around 2 kg). They are made from tough materials on the upper top and mesh on the bottom.

I come from Singapore where there are so many tropical fruits like pineapple, melon, papaya, banana etc available all year around. These are generally easy to get hold of from Waitrose too, both in store and online.

Earlier this month, I was so excited to receive an email to say that I had been accepted to attend the NBN (Next Blogger Network) workshop. This is going to be great experience for me as I am very new to fashion blogging.
There will be 3 sessions on: SEO and web design; brand and advertising; photography and film. I am very excited and hoping I can do more fashion posts in future. I am quite a novice at fashion but I am keen to learn. I want to dress appropriately to hide away all my fat bits around my body. So I was thrilled when I was picked to do an autumn makeover shop! I am a size 16-18.

Yesterday, we all went to Tesco to do our weekly shopping and to cook a nice Easter Sunday lunch. We decided to have a lazy Sunday. Rather than going out for an Easter Egg hunt, we created one at home instead.
M&M’s World Visit in London
M&M’s world is dedicated to the colourful fun of M&M’s®. The store measures 35,000 square feet and is spread over four floors. It has an extensive range of M&M’s® chocolates and merchandise, including kitchenware, clothing, bedding, jewellery and glassware. It even has a giant wall of chocolate where you can create your own M&M’s® selection from over 100 choices.
This was our first time visiting the store. Both children were so excited to see so much chocolate around. It was very clever to put the London Bus in the middle of the store. It looked great!
