Yesterday, we all went to Tesco to do our weekly shopping and to cook a nice Easter Sunday lunch. We decided to have a lazy Sunday. Rather than going out for an Easter Egg hunt, we created one at home instead.
While the kids were hunting for the eggs, Mr C and I cooked up a quick fix lunch using Heinz sauces and soups. Without them, our food would be so plain. I was quite surprised to find so many Heinz products and found a couple unusual products like the Ploughman’s Pickle, Tomato Ketchup with Roasted Garlic, Thyme & Honey and Tomato Ketchup with Balsamic Vinegar, Basil & Oregano. Apparently there are actually 5,700 different products: Heinz 57 varieties.
While Mr C cooked steak seasoned with sea salt and freshly ground pepper and ribs in Heinz BBQ sauce in the oven, I prepared lettuce salad with added Heinz Salad Cream with Onion and Chives, Heinz Cream of Mushroom Soup with a Hint of Garlic, peas, fries and potato croquettes. Mr C added Heinz 57 steak sauce to taste. This is also one of the unusual find of Heinz products that we found!
After we finished our meal, I popped in a Heinz chocolate pudding into the microwave to complete our Easter Sunday lunch. We were so full that we all had a nap after that.
ok, totally didn’t think Heinz did anything other than ketchup or beans haha! That chocolate pudding has caught my eye…xo
Aww yay look at our Tesco haha we need to do a take over of Lichfield shops via #CBias haha! Don’t think you can beat a bit of Heinz – as they say it has to be Heinz! xx
