Paediatric Medical Negligence Claims – What You Need to Know
Medical errors can be life-changing for children and their parents. We trust medical professionals and nurses to take good care of our children, but serious mistakes can happen – and if they do, families feel let down, and children face the consequences.
Failure to diagnose serious illness in small children is a common mistake, not always neglectful because of the challenges clinicians face in obtaining a clear history or distinguishing the symptoms of a harmless virus from a life-threatening disease. But despite those challenges, there are “red flag” signs which should lead to a more detailed examination of a child’s problems, and a failure to and a failure to act when those symptoms arise may give a reason for a claim.

Happy Birthday to Opel
Opel is my family dog who has been with us for nine years. He might be loud (seriously, he loves to bark) but he is a very huggable mutt. When I first met him, he was very mischievous and he is just the same even now. He used to love to chew cables, shoes and furniture much like any other puppy though he has calmed down a bit. He loves to steal food, especially food that is within easy reach. Even food placed out of sight is not safe at times as he will find a way! On a number of occasions we have found evidence where he has eaten raw eggs, fish, biscuits etc.
Portrait Photo Canvas from PhotoBox
We have hung our family portraits above our bed for a number of years now, ever since the kids have been able to pose nicely for photos. I enjoy the constant reminder that I am fortunate to have them and for us to have each other. So I was so glad to be offered to review this photo canvas! PhotoBox offers three different formats (Rectangular, Square and Panoramic) and various sizes of Photo Canvas. I went for the biggest size to suit our wall, rectangular 76.2cm x 50.8cm (30 x 20 inch) with photo wrapping around edges.
