K’nex Classics Motorized Creations

We are no strangers to K’Nex kits as we have owned quite a few sets in the past. Some of those sets are the Starter kit, Ferris Wheel, Web Weaver Roller Coaster and Architecture London Eye. Through the years, the quality of the pieces are getting better and more flexible, which allows pieces to bend in an odd angle. They are also more durable when disassembling for your next build or storage.

Did you know that K’Nex has been around since the early 90s and is now owned by Basic Fun Toys? Their kits allow individuals to use their imagination to create 3D models using a rod and connector building system. Besides their Classics range, they also have Thrill Rides, K-FORCE Build and Blast, Imagine, Kid K’Nex, Core and Architecture.

How to build Pallet Playhouse

Want to learn how to build a Pallet Playhouse step by step? This is my second pallet project and I have loved the challenge of building this! After building the pallet climbing frame, my daughter wanted me to build her a playhouse.  It has always been her dream to have a playhouse in the garden.  So I decided to put the leftover pallets to good use.

Interplay HoverCraft Review

Want to build your own working powered hovercraft? Why not take a look at this Interplay HoverCraft kit. It has everything you need to build it! This kit is recommended for ages 8 and above and will likely require plenty of help from an adult. Both of my children were not able to help as this kit is quite flimsy.

Professor Murphy Stunt Glider Review

This week, we have been building a glider with the build it yourself Professor Murphy Stunt Glider kit. Both of my children were so excited when they saw the box! They couldn’t wait to open it up and start building it.

Lite Brix Lite Wars Review

This autumn, let Lite Brix light up by using this illuminating brick building concept to shine the world with beautiful colours. This Character Online Lite Wars Slayer Jet vs Captain Bolt’s bunker construction set enables your child to build a slayer jet with 2 cannons using Lite Brix lighted building bricks, which feature four colour LEDs that come to life when connected to the mini LED battery power pack.

Build Your Own Den with pl-ug

In these modern times, we all try hard to give our children the best and of course, provide them with a fun childhood.  At times, Mr C will build a den with the kids and have their mini party while I cook lunch/dinner.  I am so pleased to come across pl-ug (the den expert) at the recent Toy Fair.  Now I won’t need to look for my missing pegs or clips as they have proper kit to help them build a proper canopy den!

ArTec Blocks: Red Fighters Review

Toto Kidogo have kindly sent us an ArTec Blocks: Red Fighters which they are going to stock on their website soon. ArTec Block is a cube with square holes on each face, and a single, connecting stud located off-centre. ArTec Blocks are ideal for helping young minds grasp difficult arithmetic and geometric concepts. They are also great at developing a sense of colour in young artists with 20 assorted colours. It can be used to create stunning realism to 3D models by using the horizontal, vertical and diagonal connections. It is suitable for making experimental instruments for various fields of science like Biology DNA structure, Chemistry Atomic Model and Physics Balance Scale.
