Drumond Park Rapidough Review

Rapidough is the original game of modelling charades that has recently been thoroughly refreshed to provide many hours of fun with family and friends! This is suitable for ages 8 onwards and for 4 or more players. The more the merrier. This is great to play during an adult party too!

Brainbox Inventions Review

Both of my children are huge fans of Brainbox games as they are very challenging and of course fun too. We have previously reviewed ABC, My First Picture etc. This BrainBox Inventions is all about showing when, where and by whom these everyday items were invented. It is suitable for ages 8 years and above for one or more players. Inside this magnetic cube-shaped box, there are 70 beautifully illustrated cards, one rules card, one sand timer, one die.

Pie Face Review

Dare to risk getting cream on your face? I think Pie Face is one of the most exciting and fun dare games for children and adults! It is all down to luck!

Pie Face is suitable for children aged four and above. Inside the box, there is 1 pie thrower, 1 throwing arm, 2 yellow handles, 1 chin rest, 1 splash card mask, 1 spinner and 1 small sponge. There are no batteries required for this machine. Piecing together is straightforward but I find it hard to slot in the splash card mask to the underside of the chin rest to secure the mask in place. So I just left the card hanging on the edge which still works fine.

Mr & Mrs Family Edition Review

How well do you know your Valentine? Mr & Mrs family edition game will definitely bring you closer to your Valentine! Last weekend, we played with friends and found out that even after being married for eight years sometimes we still don’t know each other that well. Through these questions, we definitely learnt a little more about each other!

The Snowman Game

Recently at the NickJrCraftmas party with UKMumstv and Nick Jr on Twitter, we had played the dress the snowman game which is very popular among the children. This is what you will need to play the game.

Games Quest Review

This December, I am thrilled to partner with Games Quest. Games Quest is an online game store who are not just limited to games but also sells toys and books with over 30,000 items. There is something for everyone!

I had a browse at their shop and found two ideas games for my daughter and my son! Well, not really my son but myself! I am addicted to board games especially games of a medical genre. This game is called Hospital Rush. It is pure comical fun and comes with a whole bunch of unique player boards. Their different special abilities bring a great variety to the game and present you with a new challenge each time you play. It is for aged 10 and above and to play with 3 to 5 players. This game takes at least 30 minutes to an hour to play. It is definitely great to play during Christmas time while waiting for the roast to cook!

Chicken Charades Review

Chicken Charades is a fast-paced game but this come with a twist! You have to use the rubber chicken to describe your word in 10 seconds. It was a big hit when we played it last weekend! Now my in-laws asked us to bring it along to the Christmas gathering to play! They all loved it. It was fun and quick! How I wish I had captured their actions on video! It was hilarious!

Secret Spy Workshop Review

Mr K’s vivid imagination takes him from being an astronauts to superheroes but a couple of roles that he often reprises is a ninja and a spy. He is always very keen to learn spy’s tricks of the trade.

Secret Spy workshop from Interplay is a DIY kit to teach children the brain boggling science magic tricks.

LOGO Grab Review

LOGO Grab is a new game from Drumond Park which is a gripping rollercoaster of a game where you simply ‘roll, spot and grab’ the cards. The objective is to be the first to collect two sets of three coloured big brand cards featuring well-known products as diverse as Pot Noodle, After Eight, Heinz Baked Beans, a KitKat, The Volkswagen Beetle, Marmite and Gale’s Honey. It can be played by a group of teams or 2 to 4 players and for aged 8 and upwards.

Articulate for Kids Review

Articulate for Kids is so far one of my children’s and also my favourite games from Drumond Park. The game is very simple to follow and very fun to play! It can be played by a group of children by themselves or with grown-ups and is suitable for 4 to 20 players and for aged 6 and upwards.

Science4you Creativity Cubes & Pyramids Review

Teaching my children about science is always very challenging and fun for us. I always look for simple ideas that don’t require too many materials as it can quickly become very expensive. We did experiment on coke with mentos, fruit bobbing and corny goo. I am delighted to find out that Science4you has a huge range of activity sets at a reasonable price.

We have received Science4you Creativity Cubes and First Steps in Construction – Pyramids for both my children aged 5 and 6 for review.

Drumond Park Pumpaloons Review

Drumond Park Pumpaloons is a pumping race game which is great for indoors or outdoors. It is suitable for 2 players aged four onwards.

Children dash to their pumps and start puffing up the two lovable, colourful, clown-like wobblies – Stripeyloon and Spottyloon – until they are towering firmly upright. There are many ways to do it! You can stomp on the pump with your foot, kneel down and push it furiously with your hands, or even sit on the pump and bounce up and down, as fast as you can go! The winner is the first one to pump up the character! It may look big but it only takes 2 – 3 minutes to blow it up.

Magic Tooth Fairy Game

Another amazing game from Drumond Park! This Tooth Fairy game is magical and all the children who played this loved it! It is for 2 – 4 players and suitable from age 5 onwards.

Drumond Park Dino Bite Review

This Drumond Park’s Dino Bite RRP £19.99 is a thrilling game for 2 – 4 players and from age 4 onwards. To win this game, you have to be the last player to not get caught by the Dino! Beware there is lots of screaming, especially from me! Yes, I get so excited and start screaming… the kids all think I am mad!
