Summer Activities A – Z: I

Summer activities I! I can’t believe we’re in August and we only have four more weeks to end of the summer holidays! This year instead of sending both children to summer camp, I decided to spend quality time together and used the idea of an A to Z of activities to set the theme for the day. So today is I.

Summer Activities A – Z: H

After a really busy few days busy with play dates, a Twitter party and reading challenges, we didn’t have time to do the letter H. So now we are back on track on Summer Activities!

Summer Activities A – Z: G

Continuing our A – Z summer activities, yesterday was the letter G so we are over a quarter of the way. As I mentioned on the letter F post, my paternal grandma had passed away. She was the last of my parents’ parents and was over 90 years old. Now we have only three generations in my family. It is such a shame that my children have not seen their great grandma for two years now – since the last time we were in Singapore. Also we won’t be able to rush back to Singapore in time for her funeral as Chinese funeral lasts for 5-7 days.

Summer Activities A- Z: F

F is fun! Don’t you think so? We had another brilliant day again. This time around, we had daddy joining in and having fun with us. So our summer activities today is the letter F!

Summer Activities A – Z: E

Yesterday, the weather was so hot and sunny that we spent most of the morning having fun in the garden! To continue the alphabet for the summer activities, we are doing letter E.

Summer Activities A – Z: D

Today is the fourth day which is the letter D. We didn’t do many activities for D as we went out for a play-date. So these are our letter Ds:

Summer Activities A – Z: C

Working through the alphabet for the summer activities, we have been doing the letter C. We had been working hard cleaning the house and car, so we had quite a few naughty Cs.

Summer Activities A – Z: B

We survived the first day of the holidays! We are now counting down for our family holiday to come! Working through the alphabet, we did letter A previously and yesterday, we did letter B. We had a lot of letter B activities!

Summer Activities A – Z: A

Today is the first day of the summer holidays. My children and I have been getting busy to start our summer activities together. The day before, I asked them what they want to do for letter A. These is what we did today!

If you like to join in, please do so and comment with your link. I will pop by and have a look. It can be anything from crafts to food for the letter!

Hello!

Welcome to ET Speaks From Home!

Hi, I’m Eileen — a mum of two teenagers, aged 18 and 17, and a passionate lifestyle blogger sharing snippets of family life, creativity, and culture since May 2012. My daughter lives with visual impairment, and our journey together has shaped much of the heart behind this blog.
