Why Cruises are for Everyone!

21 March 2018 by Eileen

Cruises are for everyone! They are no longer wealthy pensioner holidays only, in fact, cruises are packed with a wide range of fun activities for young and old at very reasonable prices! Not only that, Cruise Nation also offers both cruise & stay and cruise & fly packages, so you will definitely find the perfect cruise itinerary for your trip to paradise, perhaps like Caribbean cruises in 2018!

Why Cruises are for Everyone!

We have been wanting to go on a cruise holiday ever since we visited the UK’s favourite ship, Independence of the Seas at Southampton two years ago! We have been looking at the option to take a trip to the Caribbean islands, especially as there are over 7,000 individual islands in the Caribbean, and 28 island nations to explore!

Personally, I have been on a few cruise trips with my parents when I was very young and now, generally, they are even more child-friendly. The bigger cruise ships are so well decked out that they feel like a floating resort.

Endless Family Friendly Entertainment

Most cruises will cater for children of all ages, from babies and tots to teens. They will definitely be able to find something they love to do, like mini golf, basketball, swimming etc. There are extensive kids’ facilities catering for different age groups of children and plenty to keep them entertained while the adults chill out! How can you not love a trip that features live entertainment and swimming pools, while offering time for families to be together at dinner or on shoreside excursions? This is what a holiday is for! And parents can even sneak in a romantic dinner alone, by taking advantage of late-night hours in the kids’ club!

Varieties of Food to Try

As a family of four, we always have to decide the type of food that we can all eat, especially our resident fussy-eater, Ms C! She can be very picky over her food and never wants to try different types! But on cruises, you have a wide variety of food to choose from! You don’t have to worry that someone in your family won’t like the food! You are bound to find something you love! If you are feeling adventurous, then be sure to try everything on offer!

See Multiple Destinations

When booking your cruise, you can choose multiple destinations for a single trip. Your floating hotel can take you from city to city or from island to island and there’s no need to mess with trains or flight schedules, or lug your suitcases along the streets. Just imagine waking up every morning and being in a new place. Best of all, you only need to unpack once!

Now I can’t wait to go on a cruise trip and see the world with my family!

Whether I’m creating festive crafts, exploring Chinese traditions, or trying out new recipes, I hope to inspire others through everyday moments from home.
