Spring Craft with Baker Ross

3 February 2017 by Eileen

Spring Craft with Baker Ross. I am so pleased to welcome the month of February which means spring will be here soon. I can’t wait for the weather to change! We often have craft kits at home which are great to do together during rainy days and in a kit form, it’s nice that all the relevant materials are included.

As part of the team of Baker Ross bloggers, we often receive great craft kits from them and this month, we have received a range of spring themed craft kits. We were provided Peacock Crinkle Decoration kits, Flower Suncatcher Decorations, Bug Pom Pom Decoration kits, Flower Creative Colouring Wreath Decorations and Craft pens.

These kits came just in time for Ms C! She happened to be ill yesterday and so we were very pleased to receive them. In no time, she completed one item from all the kits. We spent two good hours just doing all these activities together.

Each kit is well packaged and great value. The kits comes with full instructions and are easy to follow and make. They are good quality and I love that they provide so many inspirational ideas!

Peacock Crinkle Decoration Kits

This kit comes with 4 peacocks: green, red, blue and purple. All the materials were placed in one single plastic bag unlike their usual kit where individual kits are in individual plastic bags. It didn’t take long to separate the materials out.

Ms C started off folding the tissue paper, then she stuck the stickers onto the paper tissue and foam. Once finished, she hung it on the door handle. She is very pleased with the result and insists this is a chicken and not a peacock. Sometimes she can be very stubborn.

Flower Suncatcher Decorations

This kit comes with 8 plastic flower shaped suncatchers and coloured strings. Ms C loves this as they are very easy to colour in using the craft pens and each colour looks beautiful. Once the colours had dried, they are ready to be hung up next to the windows.

Bug Pom Pom Decoration Kits

It had been a while since we last made pom poms. I have almost forgotten how to use the templates. This kit comes with three different bugs: ladybird, bee and butterfly. Each kit is individually packed. Ms C went for the butterfly kit and required my help to place the template onto the butterfly foam. Once I helped her with the template, she was ready to do the threading herself. The strings came in a big bundle and it was far too big to thread into the ring. So I cut the strings into shorter lengths for easy threading.

This pom pom butterfly took us 30 minutes to thread but she turned out to be a very charming little bug.

Flower Creative Colouring Wreath Decorations

Last but not least is the Flower Creative Colouring Wreath Decorations kit. This comes with 6 individual flower templates with 6 strings. I found helping Ms C to colour the template together quite therapeutic. I love the finished result of this wreath and it looks brilliant.

Overall, we are so pleased with these spring craft kits from Baker Ross! Now you can get these spring craft from their shop http://www.bakerross.co.uk/arts-and-crafts/spring to entertain your children over spring. I would highly recommend them. They offer the best value all round with their 100% price match promise!

Disclosure: We received the samples for the purposes of writing this review, however all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

This looks great. Am definitely going to try this with my kids when we have a bit of time to sit down together. They love arts and crafts.
