Gee Whizz Review

1 March 2016 by Eileen

Last year, Drumond Park launched this brand new Gee Whizz which is jam packed with fascinating, easily accessible and confidence-giving introduction to magical tricks and activities. This set is for aged five onwards and definitely inspires the little minds with the potential to becoming a trickster.

Inside this set, it comes with a magic wand, flower, pot, colour change coin, super dice tunnel, firework glasses, super coin saucer, super spinning dices with base, four shadow cards, magic card case, parrot in the cage, zip zag rope, who’s bigger than who cards and instructions.

This is a great set for younger children who want to do most of the tricks by themselves and most of the tricks or activities don’t have to be learned or require minimal learning. My six year old daughter was able to master most of the tricks very quickly and she loves it! My eight year old son was also fascinated with the tricks!

gee whizz magic trick flower pot

There are 15 tricks or activities to learn from magically ‘growing’ a flower from the end of a magic wand and looking through a pair of astounding rainbow glasses. Watch our video and we will show you how! https://youtu.be/NIqEwo2WQh0

These tricks are easy to master by younger children and the quality of the items are mainly good. There are a few items which are made from thin cardboard. These will require additional care. My children’s favourite trick is definitely the flower pot! They just love how the empty pot turns into a flower pot! There are a few great illusion tricks which help children to learn and great for their verbal and critical thinking skills. For stockists and to play games online, visit www.drumondpark.com. It is available in good stores including Amazon.
