Another week of the Tuesday Tutorials Pintorials Pin Party! Welcome to Week 18. This week I am featuring healthy snacks.
I was so excited when I was introduce to these GOOD Hemp Products. We always love to try new food products and they are produced in Britain – Devon in fact! They produce products from hemp seeds including GOOD OIL, a 100% cold-pressed hemp seed oil, GOOD HEMP Milk alternative, and GOOD SEED which are shelled hemp seeds. All of their products are 100% natural and are suitable for vegetarians, vegans and contain no allergens.
I have received these three products for review and this is what I think of them:
Early this week, we went to shopping in Morrisons and could not find any Fuji or Gala apples available. They are my husband’s favourite choices for red apples. So he decided to try the Pink Lady as an alternative. However, the apples were slightly too acidic for him. Mr C has sensitive teeth and cannot take any fruits that are a bit sour. So I decided to use the apples to make Honey Dried Pink Lady Apple Crisps. We were given a Pink Lady apple for our Bloggers’ Night In and I think they are crunchy, juicy and tangy. I remember I came across their recipes on their site and I think this will go down very well with the kids too!
Mr C loves to play badminton twice a week and in between games, he often snacks on chocolate or a banana. I am pleased to learn about Nogii (pronounced noh-jee). It is a gluten-free, all-natural snack bar range that has just launched in the UK. Nogii bars contain an optimum nutritional mix of protein, carbohydrates and fats, making them a perfect snack for a healthy lifestyle.
Provamel is adding a new Orange and Redbush flavour to its ‘botanical’ range of yoghurt alternatives, drawing on the flavours of southern Africa to expand the soya category. The ‘botanical’ range broke new ground when it launched last year with an Apple and Green Tea (500g) and a Lime and Lemon Balm (500g) flavour.
