I have had this LG GS5163AVLZ American Style Fridge Freezer for over a couple of weeks now. My first impression is that I really like the ice and water dispenser which requires no plumbing. My old American Style fridge freezer needed to be plumbed and needed to change the water filter every 6 months which was a bit troublesome. Besides spending extra money to buy the water filter, installing the water filter felt like a chore as you needed to prime the water tube until the water ran clear.

Anisha’s Adventures in Bangladesh is a book written by Moinul Islam and is inspired by his daughter Anisha and is dedicated to Anisha and his late father. The book is suitable for age five plus. It is illustrated by Calvin Innes.
My first impression is that this book is very unusual from others. The print quality of the book is great and the text is easy to read. The front and back covers are glossy and each page is made from thick paper. The book itself measures about 22.8 x 19 cm and consists of 48 pages. It is quite a big book for Mr K as he is still learning to read words. So I had to read the book to him. Even though this book is long, the story managed to capture his attention to finish listening to the end.

Today, I got to review this Amazing Spider-Man Motorized Web Shooting figure for the Dream Toys Play Fest. The Spider-Man is highly detailed on his costume and has ripping muscle. It stands at a whopping 34cm tall. All 4 limbs are able to rotate 360 degrees but it’s impossible to pose the figure to make him standing. The head moves from side to side when you launch the web shooter. Suitable for four year old and above.

Yet again it’s time for advent calendars. Chocolate photo advent calendars are sold each year only during the run-up to Christmas, which ensures that the chocolates are fresh. Anyone not wanting to serve their loved ones with an off-the-shelf advent calendar, preferring to create their own design with their own graphic or picture, perhaps reviving the best moments of the year, will find this easy to do at FotoInsight.

The premise of the personalised photo book by love2read is to help your child develop a love of reading. It does this by presenting photographs which reflect your child’s world and relating them to simple words. Research shows that if your child loves books they will learn to read much faster and you will be encouraging a lifelong love of reading. The key words in each book are known as “high frequency ” words, which are some of the first words your child will be taught to recognise when they start school.
All you have to do is upload ten suitable photographs into a virtual book at www.love2read.co.uk and add some simple text. Your book will be printed and sent to your home address within 10 days. There are over 80 titles to choose from or you can create your own titles from the website.
The books are themed around National Curriculum keywords and are designed to stimulate the child’s interest in books so that they really want to read. No software is needed, the website is easy to use and you can even save your book as you go along if you need to come back to it later. There is a demo video on each title.

I love playing board games with my children on our tiny square coffee table with two little chairs. Playing together is the best way to engage both children and to educate them while having fun along the way.
We were fortunate to be sent Animal Safari by Orchard Toys through Izziwizzi Facebook’s PlayFest for reviews. We are massive Orchard Toys fans in this house and we have collection of Orchard Toys’ games on our shelves. Orchard Toys are durable, have bright colours and normally contain an educational element!

Three Little Pigs is always one of my favourite children’s stories and Disney songs. It features three pigs who build three houses of different materials. A big bad wolf is able to blow down the first two pigs’ houses, made of straw and sticks, but is unable to blow down the third pig’s house, made of bricks.
