I remember growing up watching The Sooty Show in the 1980s, presented by Matthew Corbett. But Sooty’s history stretches back as far as the ’60s. It’s main characters are Sooty (yellow bear), Sweep (Grey dog) and Soo (Panda).

As mentioned before in our previous post for DVD’s review, we are big fans of the Cbeebies channel. My children, especially Mr K, loves to watch many of the shows including Alphablocks whenever it is on. However, now both of my children are in school full time, they miss at lot of their favourite shows. The DVD is due for release on 25th February 2013.

We first found out about Olly the Little White Van last year because we read that it is voiced by one of the children’s favourite Cbeebies stars, Justin Fletcher (Something Special, Justin’s House and Mr Tumble). I must admit that we only occasionally watch the CITV channel and Olly the Little White Van would probably have passed us by if it had not been for Justin. Olly The Little White Van episodes air in the UK on the CITV channel twice daily. Weekdays at 9:45 am and 12:45 pm.

As mentioned in our previous post for Mister Maker DVD‘s review, we are big fans of the Cbeebies channel. My children, especially Mr K, loves to watch Grandpa In My Pocket whenever it is on and he will always record it. However, now both of my children are in school full time, they miss at lot of their favourite shows.
We were therefore delighted to learn that there is a new Grandpa In My Pocket DVD – Abbey Home Media. The DVD was released on 5th November 2012.

We are a big fan of the Cbeebies channel. My children love to watch Mister Maker, Grandpa In My Pocket, In The Night Garden, Baby Jake, Cloudbabies and a lot more. We first got to know Cloudbabies earlier this year in May 2012 when they first showed it on Cbeebies. Now both of my children are in full time school, they missed their favourite Cbeebies shows.

I followed Abbey Home Media (@AbbeyKids) on twitter. When they were looking for bloggers to review their latest DVD: The New Adventures of Harry and his Bucket full of Dinosaurs – School’s Out, I jumped at the chance! I am so glad that I did as both of my children really enjoy watching it and are glued to the show. The theme music is very catchy and both the children have been singing to it.
