We are big fans of the Cbeebies channel. My children love to watch Mister Maker whenever it is on. However, now both of my children are in school full time, they miss their favourite show. We were therefore delighted that there is a new Mister Maker DVD – Abbey Home Media. The DVD was released on 5th November 2012.
We were lucky to get a copy of Mister Maker- Watch and Make 4 DVD to review! It also came with a ‘Twiggy the Giraffe’ mini make kit. You can see how we made the Giraffe at the end of our video.
Children’s favourite Mister Maker is the ultimate arts and crafts show for younger children. Set in a magical studio with funny oversized props a combination of live action graphics and unique animation techniques aid Mister Maker in his quest to transform everyday objects into art. There are 20 different makes with over an hour and a half of crafty fun.

Making ‘Twiggy the Giraffe’
As for the making of Twiggy the Giraffe, it was not very easy to stick the pom poms together using the glue stick provided. After a little perseverance, we got there in the end. I rate this DVD 5 stars out of 5. It was great to watch together and make art and craft especially when the weather is miserable outside!

As an introduction into craft making with a little one. Its nice that all things are included in the package. So you can make something as well.
