Doc McStuffins Fuzzy-Felt

16 March 2014 by Eileen

Ms C is a big fan of Doc McStuffins. We already have the doll set, playset and microphone and she love playing with them.  We are so happy to get this John Adams Doc McStuffins fuzzy felt set for review.  This is suitable for 3 years old and above.

Disney Doc McStuffins Fuzzy-felt

In this box, it comes with 100 coloured assorted felt shapes, felt playboard and ideas leaflet.  You have to tear the felt shapes off the felt which is very easy to do so.  I love the quality and the print on the felt.  The felt is thick and easily hold by children.

I love this fuzzy-felt as you can make a different picture every time!  This is great to use for creating pictures but also to encourage co-ordination, recognition, counting, sorting and story-telling.  With this set, some of the items are made up of separate pieces which encourages children to match up the correct parts or they can mix them up creating their own unique picture, there is no right or wrong answer.

Ms C enjoyed decorating her scene and had fun telling her own story.  After playing, we just simply placed it back into the box to use again next time!  Some of the felt shapes are quite small and is very easy to misplace or drop on the floor so you have to be careful when tidying up.  This is definitely a great present for any fans.

I love timeless classics like Fuzzy Felt. I have really fond memories of playing with this as a child and Monkey has a couple of well loved sets too. Great for imaginative play – this set looks lovely too.

I didn’t know they did fuzzy felt for characters like this. What a great idea and a lovely gift.

Fuzzy felt is one of those timeless toys isn’t it? I remember loving it as a child and my little boy loves it now.
