Baffled Review

7 March 2018 by Eileen

Baffled is a brand new memory game from Cheatwell Games. This board game might look simple but it is not! It is a very challenging and fun memory game that should appeal to all the family. It is cleverly designed so that children and adults have an equal chance of winning. You only have 60 seconds to memorise all the position of the twelve symbol tiles but be prepared – the tiles can swap and change positions around the board! It is suitable for aged eight and above, for two to four players.

The game comes with a playing board, 28 Life Cards, die, 12 covering pieces, 12 symbol tiles, 4 playing counters and instructions. This game requires no assembly. Before playing this game, you decide how many lives each should have, up to a maximum of seven per player. You can also give less experienced players more lives to make the game more even – it’s up to you!

To play this game, place the tiles onto each of the lettered sections labelled A to L. Allow all the players to memorise the tiles and cover them up once the time is up. Now take it in turns to roll the die and move your coloured counter in a clockwise direction around the board. Everyone has to try to survive on the Baffled board the longest to win the game.

We all found it fun to play and were all very engaged throughout as we were trying hard to remember! Surprisingly, it is not always adults that win the game – children with great memory can win this game effortlessly! You will be surprised how challenging this game is! This game is available in good toy retailers, online and Amazon.
