Signomatic Sign Review

7 March 2018 by Eileen

Whether you have just moved into your new house or started a new business, come and commemorate with Signomatic. They are a sign manufacturer that allow their customers to customise their very own personalised signs in the material, colour and shape of their choice. Signomatic offer everything from small name badge signs and door signs to larger advertising signs, like banners, vinyl texts, decals and roll-ups.

I love making signs as helps things stand out from others and also looks well organised and professional than if it were handwritten. Also, the best way to get a unique look is by customizing it yourself. Why should your sign look generic like others! This is why I don’t usually get the signs from DIY stores! They either look too generic or sometimes, it doesn’t have what I want instore!

Using the Signmatic Design Page is very simple and straightforward. Their design page allows you to create your very own sign using their step-by-step template.

First, you choose the material that you would like to use, like Acrylic, Wood, Magnetic and many more. I have picked the Plastic Sign Engraving for my ‘No Parking’ sign! This is made from high quality acrylic which is manufactured from a plastic laminate in two layers (top providing the sign colour and the bottom the text colour). It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, UV stable and resistant to wind and weather. It should last for a long time!

Next, you have to pick the shape, colour and add your very own text with a choice of fonts in it. You can also add your own images in it too. The process is not very complicated at all and should work well as long as it is high resolution. You can have your sign as simple as you like or as fanciful as you like!

I have picked a rectangle shape with rounded edges and a red background. I have also added a ‘No’ stopping image, just above my text. The texts are engraved by laser. The reason I didn’t make this sign too fancy is so that it doesn’t attract too much attention!

Finally, you can add the finishing touches to your sign. You can have it with screw fixture, adhesive tape, hanging, flag attachment, hanging and many more. I have customised it for hanging.

This is a lovely good quality sign that is easy to design through Signomatic website and it didn’t take me long to process the payment. I received this signed via Royal Mail within 3 working days. What great efficiency! I would recommend them. Do check them out if you are looking to make a sign!
