We are almost halfway through the alphabet! It also means the summer will be over soon and both children will be back to school and I will be getting more time to do my own DIY projects.
Yesterday, we did the letter L which involved a lot of creative ideas! We have crafts, games, books and activities.
L for Lego
We are massive fan of Lego and love using bricks to create lots of different models. We also have a Star Wars set from an advent calendar and a High Speed Police Chase set.
I asked Mr K to make me some animals out of it and he is very good at it.
L for go to sleep or I will let loose the Leopard
Before bedtime, we read this light-hearted book: Go to sleep or I will let loose the Leopard.
L for Lion Craft
We used egg cartons to make lion and lion mask. I will follow-up with a step-by-step on how we made it.
L for Logo What am I?
We played the Logo What am I? game from Drumond Park. I had to simplify it as it was only Mr K and I playing. Ms C was not interested at all.
L for Loomband
Yes, Loomband again. They are everywhere! My children love it and enjoy making bands with it. They currently only know how to make a basic band.
L for Love
I have to keep reminding them to love each other. It is really hard. They always promise me but within minutes they are squabbling again. But at the end of the day, they will both kiss each other goodnight before bed.
We have plenty of letter M activities which includes eating mooncake! Yes, the mooncake festive is coming soon and now the stores are selling them already!

LEGO is a great choice for L and I love your egg box lions!
