Egg Box Lion Craft

18 August 2014 by Eileen

In our summer activities A – Z letter L, we did two craft posts which is the egg box lion and egg box lion mask. This is how we did it. I had a few half dozen cardboard egg boxes laying around for a weeks which came in handy for this craft.

  • Orange/yellow paint with brush
  • Yellow and orange paper
  • Pencil

  3. To make the face, draw a 4 cm diameter circle on the yellow paper and two round/pointy ears. Cut it out and use black pen to draw the features.

  4. Paste the face onto the orange hair.
  5. Once the body is dried, stick the head on it.

We also made a peppa pig nose using egg carton, have you seen it yet?

Next, we use the other side of the egg carton to make an egg box lion mask out of it.

If you prefer, you could paint the egg carton before you stick the nose and whiskers.

Hope you enjoy these two lion crafts.
