belVita Breakfast #MorningStories

4 May 2014 by Eileen

This post is an entry for #MorningStories Linky Challenge sponsored by belVita Breakfast.  Learn more at http://www.facebook.com/belVitaUK.”

I have two children who wake up without fail before 7.30 am but I am lucky that they will play with their iPad, play together or with their toys and don’t disturb my husband and I while we sleep on.  Then at 8 am, I will tell them it is tell to go down to have their own breakfast.

I always prepare everything the night before so that we won’t be rushing around in the morning.  These are the regular tasks:

  1. Lay out their clothing and shoes
  2. Make sure breakfast/cereal is within their easy reach, and with their bowl and spoon on the dining table.
  3. Bottle of milk is within their easy reach.
  4. Lunch boxes are prepared the night before.

So it always leave me time to have breakfast and a cup of coffee!

This week I was sent three types of tasty belVita Breakfast biscuits: Milk & Cereals, Fruit & Fibre and Yogurt Crunch.

We are no strangers to belVita Breakfast biscuits as we often buy them for the children to eat too.  I find that the wrapped portions make it easy to bring out for food on the go.

The biscuits range are a slightly dry but not as dry as other breakfast biscuit brands.  I do like to dip mine in my coffee or Milo drink though.

The yoghurt crunch range are very tasty with a delicious filling! These are my favourite choice now! The yogurt goes really very well with the cocoa biscuits. I would recommend them!

It is interesting to know that belVita is the only breakfast biscuits proven to slowly release carbohydrates over four hours as part of a balanced breakfast (for example with an apple and a latte). belVita biscuits also contains at least five wholegrains, are rich in cereals, are a source of fibre and contain a selection of vitamins.

So get a balanced breakfast, belVita suggest four simple steps:

  1. belVita Breakfast biscuits – wrapped in portion packs
  2. A portion of fruit
  3. A serving of dairy
  4. A drink to hydrate you

So what is your morning routine? Do you have any tips to share with us?

Disclosure: We have received the products to do this challenge via Britmums, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
