Bassetts Soft & Chewy Vitamins Early Health

15 September 2013 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Mr K is a very active and healthy boy but even so I regularly by him vitamins and omega 3 to top him up with vitamins to ensure he is getting all his essential nutrients.  He understands what vitamins are and is also keen to eat them.  There are so many types of vitamins on the market that choosing the right one can be a bit daunting.
So far, we have tried a few different forms of vitamins in liquids, chewable tablets, capsules and pastilles.  I must say my children’s favourite vitamins are in the form of pastilles as they look and taste like sweets!
I used to feed them liquid vitamins as it was so easy to pour in their milk.  As they have grown older, liquid vitamins have become quite impossible as they dislike the taste.  They never liked the chewable tablets and capsules either because it left an aftertaste.
Bassetts have kindly sent us their soft and chewy pastille vitamins which comes in strawberry and orange flavours.  It is suitable for aged 3 plus onwards which contains vitamin A, B6, C, D and E.  They are sugar free, with natural flavours and colours.  Each vitamin is sealed in the plastic/foil packet  to keep it fresh.  I personally quite like it as I am able to tell if I have given the vitamins to my children.  Most of the time, it is Mr K who reminds me to give him his vitamins and I tend to forget if I have given him one for the day.  But being able to write on the packaging, it makes it easy for me to remember.  Age is catching up with me!
Mr K has tried both flavours and he loves them both equally.  They are easy to chew as they are quite small.  The orange flavour is not too tangy.  They taste like a proper sweet except this is much more healthy than a sweet itself.  I would definitely recommend them!
