Itsyourstory – Zoo Adventure

Itsyourstory was the first company in the UK to sell photo personalised books for children and they are still the best!  Their range has expanded to 26 books as well as cards, party invites, e-books, e-cards and our latest product – a photo-personalised Father Christmas letter.

We were given this opportunity to review Itsyourstory Father’s Day Book: Zoo Adventure. It is very simple with clear instruction to order online. You can either choose to register an account or a guest account. Select a book and choose the size of the book. Add them in the basket and click checkout.  It will ask you if you would like to submit a photo and add any personalise words. Once the payment is cleared, you will received an email and you have 24 hours to make any amendment to it.

We ordered a Zoo Adventure book that had Mr C’s face on the book. They comes in 3 different sizes and we chose the A4 book which costs £19.99. The book came within a few days. I was impressed with their speedy delivery services.

Zoo Adventure is a book written by Holly Wright and illustrated by Anna Horton.  The book is suitable from two to six years old. The book contains 32 pages and is digitally printed to a high standard on thick paper with a laminated cover. This book celebrates the special relationship between an adult and a child and makes a great Father’s Day gift. The adult will have their face 13 times in the illustration and their name features 26 times in the book. It follows their adventures when they visit the local zoo together. The child features in the story but this time, it is the adult’s face which is incorporated into the illustrations.

This book is an interactive book where each pages asks the child a question. The font is big and easy to read for any young school children. Mr C read the story to both children and they both enjoyed the story. The photos of Mr C are very well edited. I am very impressed with this book. I rate this 4 stars out of 5. Overall the storyline is fun and entertaining but the price is on the high side. I would recommend this company for their personalised books as there are a wide range of books to choose from. It will appeal to any children to see their faces star on their own personalised book.
