Birmingham Halloween Scaremaze 2024

13 October 2024 by Eileen

Halloween Scaremaze is back this October 2024. Following last year’s spine-chilling success, they are now back with more ghastly horror and more terrifying experience than ever before at Luna Springs in Digbeth. It is not too late to book your tickets as their last day is on the 2nd of November. This experience is strictly for those over 18 only. Go and secure your spot at the Halloween Scaremaze.

Birmingham Halloween Scaremaze Review

This year’s Halloween Scaremaze theme is a follow-up to last year’s catastrophic meltdown at the Goretech Atom Facility. It is called Victor’s Revenge – The Nightmare Returns. Before I tell you more about the scare maze itself, this year they introduced two thrilling new attractions: Dr. Hades’ Freaks and Dr. Hades’ Electric Shock Chair.

Each night, there are six Dr. Hades’ Freaks performances on the stage featuring fire whip crackers, contortionists, sword swallowing, and more. Beware that the content is quite gruesome.

As for Dr. Hades’ Electric Shock Chair, you and your friends are invited to test out the three escalating levels of electric shocks. My friend and I gave up after the second shock! It was too much to handle! It literally made us jump with fear!

There is also street food, a live DJ, a fully covered and heated marquee, and the interactive Dr Hades Scare Station, where you become the master and control the scare and fright with friends and family. Simply press the buttons to scare them all night!

Now, let me tell you the highlight of this scare maze! This was my first time taking part in a scare maze and I didn’t know what to expect. All I can say is that it was such a great experience and a fun maze. There were many unpredictable surprises and horrors pursued. After the facility had a meltdown and his loss of his daughter Rachel, Victor has transformed the facility into a labyrinth of terror. There are dark, endless narrow corridors and numerous traps. You are expected to walk in the dark or with flashing lights, walking up and down the slope, into different rooms and metal fences. There will be loud music and horror sounds. It will leave you with a lot of tension and eerie encounters.

The tickets are good value for money. You get to watch freak shows, try out their electric chairs, live DJ, maze and many more. I would recommend it as it was an unforgettable Halloween experience we had.
