Sonic Blasting Iron Man 3

5 May 2013 by Eileen

Iron Man 3 was released in cinemas on the 25th April. It stars Robert Downey Jr. returning as Marvel’s brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark, whose alter ego is of course Iron Man, fighting against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible.

Hasbro and Marvel yet again had done everything to give the children or their fans a piece of Iron Man. From Sonic Blasting Iron Man figure to Arc Fx Iron Man mask. I am fortunate to receive the Sonic Blasting Iron Man from markettiers4dc for review. My son is very excited as Iron man is one of his favourite Avengers characters.

Sonic Blasting Iron Man 3

After taking it out of the box, you need to attach both feet which is very easy to click on. It doesn’t come with batteries so you ‘ll need to get your hands on 3 x AA battery before his motorized rotating missile blaster that fires five projectiles. The missiles do not shoot with any great force which makes it quite safe for children. I had warned my children to launch the missiles away from faces. After playing for two minutes, my son had managed to lose one missile. Luckily, there are 10 missiles provided. It is very easy to load the missile by pushing them into the slots until they click. It also features lights in the chest and eyes and includes battle sound effects by press the white button on his front.

The Iron Man has nice detail on his suit. It stands at a whopping 38cm tall. All limbs are able to move but with limited rotation. It is suitable for four years old and above. The figure seems robust and well made. It retails at £29.99 which I think is good value for money for this type of toy. I rate this 4.5 stars out of 5.
