3 Picnic Spots in the Midlands
Autumn has finally arrived and is in full swing! I always love autumn as I enjoy the crisper clearer air, the changing colour of trees and of course you don’t get crazy daylight at 10 pm which makes it difficult for the kids to sleep! With the October half term fast approaching, Vita Coco kids has set us a mission to find the best autumn picnic spots across the UK.
Waitrose Teddy Bears Picnic ideas
My children might be 5 and 6, but they are still very much in love with their teddy bears. When they heard that they were allowed to bring their own unique bears out for a picnic, they were over the moon! I have never allowed them to take their bedtime bears outside of the house, just in case they lost it and as most parents will know, a child’s favourite cuddly toy is so difficult to replace!
So a day before, Mr C and the children went to our local Waitrose to buy the groceries for our teddy bears picnic. They bought a few packets of ham, tomatoes, a loaf of bread, strawberries, cake, Capri-Sun and others. I then made a lot of ham, jam and egg sandwiches and packed our bag with fruits, snacks and plenty of drinks!
