This Meccano Lamborghini Huracan Spyder set comes with 259 durable metal parts, including rubber tires, stickers, pose-able steering, 2 ergonomic tools and easy-to-follow instructions. It is suitable for aged 10 and above. Mr C was so happy when he saw this set. This is one of his many dream cars he would like to own. I think he might just realise his dream if he sticks with models rather than a real one!

Plasticine Review
Do you want to avoid your favourite modelled character shrinking or hardening? Plasticine could be the solution to your problem. Recently, we have tried out modelling items using Plasticine. I made a Homer Simpson character while Mr K made a stripy tiger and Ms C made lots of different items using the Plasticine cutter.
Ms C doing her catwalk with Sprogs Inc
Sprogs Inc is a new online children’s boutique company launched officially in May 2013. They offer clothes, shoes, toys and gifts for children aged 0 to 8 years. They stock British, European and American brands and produce their own label clothes too. Ms C loved doing her catwalk in her heels and showing off her new clothing from Sprogs Inc (Capsule Mix and Match Set – Four Pieces).
Mr K is on BBC1 Doctors!
A few months ago, I posted that Mr K is starring in BBC1 Doctors. It was aired this afternoon and I was excited for him! I was very pleased that he looked so natural on TV. We were all ready and sat in front of the TV. When it was on, Mr K was so embarrassed that he ran off. He is too shy and self-conscious to see himself on TV.
The episode he appears in is from series 15 episode 41 of 222. It was 28 minutes long and he did appear in a number of scenes. You can read my diary of his shooting for Day 1, Day 2 and last day.
Modelling for Wilkinsons Plus
Last week, Alan Sharman agency phoned us to inform us that Miss C was chosen for a company photo shoot. I was so pleased for her. Anyway, we finally got the confirmation last Friday.
Yesterday, we spent 1.5 hours to drive to Worksop to the company studio. It was a long journey but luckily our Miss C fell asleep. When we arrived, it was not very easy to find the place and a workplace is never a child friendly area.
Final Day for BBC Doctors at Birmingham University
I can not believe today is his last day of shooting BBC Doctors. It has gone so quick. Today, he had only 3 scenes all shot on location at Birmingham University. The BBC team started late but it didn’t take them too long to set up the scene. It was quite a quick in and out of the door. Mr K was so distracted looking at the furry microphone that our chaperone had to keep asking him to look down.
Second Day of Shooting BBC Doctors
Today, we went to another new location which is the main studio where they film BBC Doctors. It was quite easy to find the place but going to Birmingham is always a nightmare for me! When I turned into the car park, it was filled with ambulance, police cars and vans. Hmm…. I told to myself, did I just drive myself to the Police station. So I came out of the car and had a quick look and saw a sign “Acting car, please do not block”. Right, I am in BBC studios and this is not a real Police station.
When we reached there, we were shown the dressing room and I was quite shocked to see Mr K had his own dressing room. Hooray! It even had his screen name on the door.
A working day for Mr K for BBC Doctors
Last week, we got a call from Alan Sharman agency to ask if Mr K was free around to be put forward for a job. Soon after, we got a follow up phone call to let us know that BBC Doctors wanted Mr K to be part of the show. I was very excited for him. This is his first proper filming job. We did ponder for a while because of the miserly fee especially as he had to work for 6 hours a day. Anyway, we accepted the job.
Had both children’s picture profile
In the modelling industry, the one request by the modelling agencies are that we have to update the children’s profile regularly as their appearances change so quickly at a young age.
Photo Shooting for both children in London!
We had a casting in London a couple weeks ago and we got chosen to be part of the shooting. I was very excited as it was for both children. Again we didn’t know what and where until the very last minute. We got the information for the photo shooting on Friday and we had to be there on Monday!
Vertbaudet Autumn/Winter 2012 TV Collection
A few weeks ago, I mentioned in my blog about Ms C filming an advert for Vertbaudet. Today, the TV commercial is officially out and I think I can post some behind the scenes photos!
Redwood Publishing Photoshooting Casting in London
Today, I am bring Mr K and Ms C on a train trip down to London for a photo shooting casting. I only paid £11 for one way trip by West Midland London. Children under 5 year old is free. Bargain! They were very excited going down to London to see my friends Mrs M and Mr M too. The whole train journey took about 2 hours and it was felt pretty quick as we managed to get a seat with a table and played the new game by Orchard Toys, Monster Catcher. I had also packed two booster carseats as we had planned to come back home with our friends in their car.
Commercial Shoot for Ms C
Remember previously I had wrote a blog regarding a casting for a commercial shoot? Today, we were finally there to do the shooting at the scene. It was a long way though. We had travelled a day early to Worsley, Manchester and staying overnight at Novotel Hotel. We had a bit of problem checking in though as someone had taken our room! The person told the reception her surname and they could not find her on the system. Her daughter was a replacement for another model who was unable to turn up. I think they assumed that we were the ones who were unable to turn up – the receptionist was so shocked when we arrived!
