Modelling for Wilkinsons Plus

18 April 2013 by Eileen

Last week, Alan Sharman agency phoned us to inform us that Miss C was chosen for a company photo shoot. I was so pleased for her. Anyway, we finally got the confirmation last Friday.

Yesterday, we spent 1.5 hours to drive to Worksop to the company studio. It was a long journey but luckily our Miss C fell asleep. When we arrived, it was not very easy to find the place and a workplace is never a child friendly area.

Soon, we were greeted by the staff and she had to start work.  It always takes a little while to get a child to settle in to a new environment and on this occasion, Miss C took at least an hour to warm up to the staff. They allowed her to choose the toys to play with for the photos and she went with the pink doll house which is something she always wanted.

Soon after, she happily played for at least 30 minutes. The staff did a great job by playing with her and getting her to relax. There was so much to play with.  After hundreds of photos, they are finally done. I do feel these photo shoots are more relaxed the more Miss C gets used to the studio environment. So look out for Miss C on Wilkinsons Plus Toy’s packaging soon!

Will definitely look out for her in wilkinsons! It’s good they gave her so long to feel comfy and get settled into it. I’ve found with mine sometimes they seem to expect them to cooperate and pose straight away, and they don’t! so then it doesnt end up working well!
