Orbeez Hand Spa Review

Are you having a girly birthday party or a pretend spa day with your children? Orbeez Hand Spa might be the answer! This is an ultimate spa experience for your little one. It features a whirlpool of swirling Orbeez plus a 3 in 1 hand and nail care tool.

The hand spa measures 30.5cm x 9cm x 25.5cm. It is suitable for children aged 5 and above. It requires 4 AA batteries to power the waterfall. Setting it up is very simple and straightforward. Make sure you have a hand towel nearby to clean up all the water drips. After installing the batteries, press the waterfall spout into the slot in the basin until it fits snug. Fill the hand spa basin with clean water and pour in water beads but do not overfill the basin with too many water beads. Turn it on and you will see the water beads and water swirl around the spa and the water will cascade down the waterfall. Rest your hands inside the hand spa basin and massage your hands by playing with the water beads or using the nail care tool. Then take your hand out to dry before you buff your nails.

Alive! Multi-vitamin Review

This year 2015, I was invited for two fitness challenges which is to trial Epson Pulsense watch and Alive! Women’s energy multi-vitamin. I have to say that going to the gym or any form of exercise is definitely not my cup of tea. My weight has been like a yo-yo since young. This year, I wanted to be different! So I am thrilled to trial Alive! multi-vitamin to give me the boost that I needed.

Good Bubble Review

Bath time is always a fun time for my children and a relaxing time for me as I can just sit there and watch them. They love to pretend to swim and play with their bath toys. Recently, I came across Good Bubble via a fellow blogger and saw that they get a good review. In particular, the thing that caught my attention is the use of the superfruit in their product. There are some very interesting fruits and there are no such fruity smelling products for children that I’m aware of. I was pleased that they got in touch for us to try their superfruit toiletries too.

Good Bubble comes in two different superfruit ranges: dragon fruit and cloudberry. Each range comes with four different products: hair & body wash, shampoo, conditioner and bubble bath. I have received three products: Cloudberry Bubble Bath, Dragon Fruit Hair & Body Wash and Dragon Fruit Conditioner.

Aveeno Review

A few months ago at Britmums Live, I met the PR company for Aveeno who told us about their products and new book – The Dry-ventures of Ellie & Eddie. We are no strangers to Aveeno as Mr K has been using Aveeno since he was three years old and he is on a regular prescription for all the Aveeno products.

Aveeno keeps his skin moisturised to reduce the frequency of flare-ups. The AVEENO® range for dry, sensitive skin is designed to help in the management of this challenging skin condition. AVEENO® products containing Colloidal Oatmeal are clinically proven to help restore the epidermal barrier (the top layer of skin) leaving skin feeling soft and comfortable. Oats have long been known for their soothing and anti-irritant properties, with oat proteins leaving a protective barrier on the skin which prevents water loss and maintains moisture.

Healgel Face Review

Not long ago, I tried the HealGel Eye for my dark circles which gave me good results and now I have tried the HealGel Face for a month. This cream is a step changing anti-ageing formula for firmer, smoother and replenished skin.

Kegel8 Mother Nurture Review

How I wish I had known about Kegel8 Mother Nurture before Mr K was born! What is so great about Mother Nurture is that besides being able to use it as a pelvic toner, it also acts as a TENS machine. It is a three-step companion to help you through pre-conception, birth and beyond.

SunSense Review

The sun is finally out! But don’t forget to get your sun cream too!  Our school have asked us parents to apply sun cream to children before sending them to school.  But you normally have to reapply sun cream regularly for it to be fully effective.

HealGel Eye Lift-Brighten Revive Review

Last month, I read about HealGel Eye over at The Brick Castle and was amazed with her results.  Therefore I was so pleased when I was contacted by HealGel to try out their amazing products too.  Besides HealGel Eye, they also have HealGel Face which helps keeps skin calm, hydrated and revitalised.  If you like to know more, do pop over to Mummy of Two as she had reviewed it.

Markwins Cosmetic and Beauty collections for Young Girls

A year ago, I raised a question with UK beauty bloggers if they knew anything about nail polish for children but didn’t get anywhere.  Ms C is a big fan of nail polish.  I had bought her a few adult nail polishes while we were out shopping.  With the various chemicals in nail polish, I always worry that she might accidentally ingest it or that it would harm her tiny nails.  Long term use of nail polish will dull the colour of the nail if you don’t look after it properly.  Therefore, I am so glad to come across Markwins on Twitter.

Nelsons Calendula Review

Need a little pamper?  Nelsons have a range of great value beauty products that could help.  Maybe you could spoil yourself with a bottle of Nelsons Arnicare Bath & Massage Balm.  It helps to soothe and relax after a tiring day while Evening Primrose and Sweet Almond Oil naturally hydrate and nourish skin.  It costs £8.15 and is available from Boots.

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Range

If you like to have nice curly hair or frizzy hair out of control, you may like to take a look at John Frieda Frizz-Ease Range. My hair is straight and coloured. I had a perm done in a salon down in London 6 years ago and I remember I had to re-perm my hair twice. My hair is so straight that the chemical wasn’t strong enough to curl it. So before my wedding night, my best friends had to use curling tongs to re-curl it. With all that rough treatment, my hair became very brittle. How I wish I had this Frizz-Ease range then!

Grahams Natural Kids – Eczema Cream

Since birth, both of my children have suffered from eczema. Their skin on the inside of their joints like elbow, knee and armpits have suffered from inflammation and sore skin. We have been to see various skin specialist nurses and doctors.  Each time, they offer to change to different drugs and none of the creams have worked for them. I have constantly been on the lookout for alternatives solutions, including changing my washing powder.

Grahams Skincare is Australia’s best-selling natural skincare range of top-to-toe treatments for eczema and sensitive skin conditions. It has been borne out of a fathers’ desire to ensure his son did not have to suffer from such debilitating physical and psychological effects of severe eczema.

How to stave off the ageing process

My daily beauty routine is to wash my face in the morning and then apply a lot of face cream before getting my children ready for school. I like to keep it moisturised especially against the elements in this harsh cold weather. Also routinely after my daily shower, I will put on more face cream, have a weekly face mask, daily cleanser before I go to bed.

Review myvitamins Bundle

Keeping my family healthy is always my number one priority. I supplement our diets with vitamins and minerals. This time around, I picked an Active Kids Omega 3 for my children, Total Krill Oil for myself and Joint Plus MSM for Mr C. Each packet of myvitamins come in a zip lock that allows you seal the vitamins securely. They can be store neatly in your handbag but you must be careful with children as you won’t want them to think it is a pack of sweets.

Anti-Snoring Ring Review

Have you ever wanted to give your other half a big slap or kick them off the bed because they snore so loud the bed shakes?  Well I do! I’ve suffered for ages listening to Mr C’s snoring, not helped that I’m a light sleeper! We have tried different type of pillows and nasal strips for him but we didn’t have much success with those.

So when I saw a fellow blogger review the anti-snoring ring, I thought why not give it a try! Mr C has tried it for a month now. In his case, it has not been an instant result but it works in the end! His snoring has become quieter each time he wears it and it took about three weeks before we started seeing the results. I no longer notice the snoring so no need to push him aside or to put a pillow on his head. I love how the ring works as there is no drug needed or any other side effects.
