Warburtons Thin Bagel was such a great hit in this household that we had it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Last week, we had been trying out Warburtons three new bagel flavours: Cinnamon & Raisin, Sesame, and Plain.
As many people know, bagels are usually very dense and chewy. Warburtons new bagel is very much different! It has the same authentic bagel taste and texture but just thinner which is so much easier to eat.
Each bagel contains just 120 calories. Each pack contains six thin sliced bagels at RRP £1.40. Our favourite is the Cinnamon & Raisin. They were great for toasting and delicious with a light spread of butter on it. It was so yummy that we finished nine bagels between us.
I went to New York eight years ago with my husband for his 30th birthday trip and it was my first time trying out bagels. In America, they slice the bagel in half and fill it with various fillings such as egg, ham, bacon, cream cheese, etc. It was very delicious. Since then, I have continued to buy and eat them do find it quite hard to chew unless I sliced it in half and add ingredients. In UK supermarkets, the bagels are typically not sliced. It is so nice that Warburtons provide the bagels conveniently pre-sliced. With it being thinner, it means it is a whole lot easier to eat too!
I had used the Breville 4 sliced toaster to toast the bagels. Heat setting 2 is perfect for these bagels. Then we loaded it up with ham, chorizo, cream cheese, sweetcorn and all sorts of different ingredients! They were so delicious that my children wanted for more!
Warburtons Thin Bagels are now available in Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s stores nationwide and will be stocked in The Co-operative, Tesco and Iceland over the coming weeks.
