Valentine Day Craft with Baker Ross

1 February 2016 by Eileen

It’s craft time again! This time we are going to make Valentine’s Day crafts. Mr C and I usually don’t celebrate it but thanks to Baker Ross, we are making a few crafts as family time. They have sent us an exciting range of Valentine’s Day crafts which includes the Teapot Photo Frame Magnet kits, Heart Fuse Bead kits, Heart Wooden Keyrings and Heart Cross Stitch Bookmark kits.

Each kit is well packed and some kits are also great for party bags. They are very well priced and great value. The kits are of good quality with full instructions and are easy to follow and make.

Teapot Photo Frame Magnet Kits

This kit comes with 4 assorted designs to choose from: purple, pink, blue and green. The step by step instructions are easy to follow. This comes with plenty of self-stick foam for you to decorate the frame. Once you have finished decorating it, stick a photo in it and the magnet on the back. These frames look absolutely gorgeous.

Heart Fuse Bead Kits

This comes with three heart templates, various colour beads enough to make 6 hearts, instructions, 3 tracing papers and a silver string. The beads were all mixed up which makes it hard to find the right colour bead you want. So I ended up spending 30 minutes sorting them all out. So it comes with red, bright pink, light pink, lilac, purple, blue and white colour beads. After Ms C completed the heart, I immediately used the tracing paper to iron it.

Ms C enjoyed doing this activity and has made a lovely heart to hang on her bedroom door. This is activity is great for fine motor skills.

Heart Wooden Keyrings

This kit contains eight plain wooden keyrings for children to decorate. You can use felt coloured pens or paint to decorate it. Or you can stick it with buttons or sparkle stickers. My children preferred to colour them in!

Heart Cross Stitch Bookmark Kits

There are 4 different bookmark designs inside this kit. It comes with 6 different colour strings, 4 plastic needles and 4 paper bookmarks. I love this kit as it not only great to learn cross stitch, it is also great for their fine motor skills. My son did struggle a lot on the cross stitch but in the end he did get it right. On the other hand, my daughter was very good at it! This bookmark should be coloured in firstly before cross stitching otherwise it makes it hard to colour in neatly.

Do check out Baker Ross if you are looking for craft kits to entertain your children over the weekends or for parties! I would highly recommend them.
