My Daughter’s Top Toys for Girls 2014

11 December 2014 by Eileen 2 Comments

This year we have been very fortunate to have reviewed a wide range of toys for both of my children. We are lucky that their age gap is quite close so they tend to play together and share their toys. But of course, they do have different interests and so they will not always play with the same toys. Anyway, these are the toys for girls that my daughter have picked as it contains her favourite characters and toys for pretend play.

Sylvanian Families

Sylvanian Families have been available for well over 20 years now and it is still as strong as ever. They are very excellent in quality and also very durable with intricate details on the house. We bought Ms C her first Sylvanian Families house three years ago around Christmas time and she has been playing with it ever since and it has lasted well. Not long ago, we reviewed the retro style turquoise campervan along with the adorable Chocolate Rabbit family. It’s fantastic and Ms C loves it!

Now we have received another family – Bear family to add to the set. The Bear Family consists of Father Patrick, Mother Margaret, Brother Piers, and Sister Andromeda. Each character is very well made with gorgeous plastic black eyes. They also have their own clothing which can be removed as they are attached with Velcro. Both limbs are moveable which enable them to sit or stand. Brother Piers also has a half-eaten hamburger.

They are available to buy in good shop and Amazon.

Palace Pets

Each Disney princess has their own adorable Palace Pets friends to play with. Each of the animals have a resemblance to their respective master, whether it is in their look or in their accessories. Ms C always plays her princesses with Palace Pets by bring them for a walk. Palace Pets have a great range and we had reviewed the Royal Carriage and Pamper & Beauty Salon. They are available in any good shop and Character Online.

Ben & Holly

Ben & Holly are a couple of Ms C’s favourite TV characters. The stories are also a bit of fun and silly, and with a bit of magic. Ms C loves to learn magic and has been practising the thumb and finger trick Mr C’s taught her. We had this Ben & Holly Thistle Castle Playset and Ms C has not bored of it yet. It is very sturdy and robust, and the castle is very colourful too.

Doc McStuffins

Doc McStuffins’ Clinic Playhouse is a large playhouse and comes with Hallie, Lambie, Stuffy, a clinic table, clinic bed, laptop, Hallie’s reception desk with phone, Doc’s bed, mirror, slide, door sign, chimney, elevator, stair rails and sticker sheet. Ms C occasionally bought it down to play doctor with Mr C. They both enjoy role play and have so much fun with it. These are Ms C’s top favourite toys she plays with the most at the moment. If your children love pretend play, they are great toys for them.
