Disney Princess Palace Pets Review

9 February 2014 by Eileen

Ms C is a massive fan of Disney princesses but what she didn’t know is that each Disney princess now have their own adorable animal friends to play with.  Each of the animal friends have a resemblance to their respective master, whether it is in their look or in their accessories.

Disney Princess Palace Pets

Palace Pets come with these to collect:

  1. Furry Tail Friends: Teacup, Beauty, Berry, Treasure, Pumpkin and Blossom.
  2. Primp & Pamper Ponies: Petit, Bloom and Bibbidy.
  3. Talking & Singing Pets: Treasure, Pumpkin and Berry
  4. Pamper & Beauty Salon

There is also a free Palace Pets app to download which allows children to pamper their virtual pets in the magical app.

Watch my video review on the Palace Pets: https://youtu.be/UFWMTm__v_s

Furry Tail Friends

Palace Pets Furry Tail Friends Treasure

Treasure is Ariel’s pet.  She is a very curious and peppy kitten that loves something cats usually hate: water.  In the set, she comes with a brush and a detachable tiara.  She has a bushy tail and her head is able to turn 360 degree.  She is quite a small build but stands solidly on a flat surface.  She is very well made with sparkly ribbon on her tail.

Primp & Pamper Ponies

Palace Pets Ponies

Bibbidy is Cinderella’s pet. She is the most helpful pony Cinderella has in the royal stables and she adores doing chores.  In this set, it comes with a jewellery box, 3 hair clips, 1 brush and a detachable sparkly tiara. The jewellery box is able to open and store the hair clips.  The pony is very well made with solid body and moveable head. She also come with a long soft synthetic tail to brush and braid.

Talking & Singing Pets

Pumpkin is able to talk and sing by pressing the necklace.  She has six different sentences stored.  The detachable tiara, brush and batteries are included in the set.  She is Cinderella’s puppy.  She comes with beautiful long eyelashes, moveable head with a solid body and a bushy tail.  I love the attention to detail to her facial features.  She is adorable.

Pamper & Beauty Salon

Palace Pets Pamper & Beauty Salon

Time for pamper?  Why not pop into this gorgeous, well laid out beauty salon.  It also comes with an exclusive pet – Rapunzel’s kitty Summer.  She is part of the Furry Tail friend and able to change colour when in contact with cold water.  See how she gets pink nails and body design.

The salon comes in three different parts: a spa tub, brush and style, and a salon chair that spins.  It comes with a brush, 4 hair clips, a hair dryer, a sponge and a perfume bottle.  This is a very nice set but it seems a bit too plasticky.  But overall I love the attention to detail and storage place for the accessories.

Ms C adored this whole set and loves to pretend that she is the boss of the salon and is pampering the princess pets.  She enjoys brushing and styling the pet hair.  Also she has some Disney princess figures and she loves to include these in her play.  She gets totally immersed with the characters and loves cleaning her pets using the spa sprayer.  This is a very well thought out girls set to play along with the Disney princesses.

Do you have a Disney mad princess at home?  This could definitely be a great set for any upcoming birthdays!

That looks so cute! Can’t wait until my daughter is old enough for these kind of toys.

These do look adorable. My daughter’s a big princess fan, too, and has plenty of the princess dolls, but not their pets – could be the next thing on her wish list…!
