Bubblegum Milkshake

19 October 2014 by Eileen 3 Comments

This post is an entry for #AngelDelightMoments Linky Challenge. Learn more at http://bit.ly/angeldelight.

Angel Delight is a tasty and quick instant dessert that has been whipped up by families since 1967. They come in two different ranges: classic and no added sugar. The six classic flavours are Banana, Butterscotch, Chocolate, Raspberry, Bubblegum and Strawberry. The three no added sugar variants are Strawberry, Butterscotch and Chocolate.

As some of you might know, I am from Singapore and moved to the UK 13 years ago. I had never tried Angel Delight before. Now through Britmums, I have been given this opportunity to try it out with my children. As there are only two sachets provided, we didn’t make a bold creation but simply followed their recipes!

  • 1 sachet of Bubblegum Angel Delight
  • 300ml cold milk
  • 3 scoop of vanilla ice cream
  • Serve with fresh strawberries

Method:

  1. Mix the Bubblegum Angel Delight powder, milk and ice cream in the blender and whizz for 30 seconds. angel delight bubblegum
  2. Serve with fresh strawberries.

This only makes a big cup of milkshake for one person. It is very light, creamy and tasty with a hint of bubblegum. We love it and polished it off in no time! It makes a nice, unusual change to the typical milkshake flavours. It is not too sweet too.

I am so glad to find a product that we all love. Next time, I will try to whip out a dessert instead!
