9bar Breakfast Energy Boost Review

19 October 2014 by Eileen

The first time I came across 9bar was when I visited their stall at the Good Food show and I instantly fell in love with their Original and Peanut bars. They are packed full of delicious seeds, nuts and a thin layer of chocolate! They are flavoursome and so easy to eat. They are not too hard nor are they too dry.

Early April, they have launched the deliciously moist & chewy wholefood 9bar Breakfast, available in four mouth-watering flavours. 9bar Breakfast is a convenient, nutritious breakfast alternative with the right mix of carbs and protein to provide the slow release energy you need to get through the morning rush hour. They are gluten and wheat free.

9 bar breakfast review

We have received this fantastic breakfast hamper from 9bar. They are great in the morning with my cup of coffee to provide the morning kick-start that I need! They come in four flavours: Almond & Raspberry; Cashew & Cocoa; Peanut & Raisin and Apricot & Strawberry.

They are indeed very moist and delicious as described in their packaging. They are packed with nutritious seeds, chewy oats, puffed brown rice and protein-packed soya crispies. Each pack weighs 50 gram which is a perfect breakfast sized portion. The breakfast bar is very compact and each of the ingredients are well mixed.

I don’t have any particular favourite – I like them all and have been rotating through them. One bar will give you energy to keep you going for a while so I wouldn’t recommend eating more than one at a time.

Each 9bar breakfast bar has their own unique characteristics from the ingredients. Almonds have been identified as brain food and raspberries is pack with vitamin c which makes 9bar Almond & Raspberry a perfect choice if you need a boost! Cashews promote healthy digestion and with a bit of cocoa powder make 9bar Cashew & Cocoa a lovely chocolatey treat. 9bar Apricot and Strawberry is packed with fruits which is perfect for those who would like a light but high-energy breakfast option. Raisins contain Vitamin B to ease stress and peanuts to boost serotonin levels. 9bar Peanut & Raisin is perfect for banishing those horrible moods!

The new 9bar Breakfast range is available to buy online and from independent health food stores nationwide! For free samples, tips and news, visit: http://www.9ninebrand.com/ to subscribe to their newsletter.

Disclosure: We received the samples for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
