Creative Breakfast with belVita

20 September 2014 by Eileen

“This post is an entry for #MorningWin Linky Challenge sponsored by belVita Breakfast.

Breakfast is something I always like to have and we always make sure that both children have their breakfast too. Even if they are late for school, I will bring their cereal bowls to eat in the car (without milk). Having breakfast is definitely the best way to start our day!

belVita Breakfast have launched three new flavour Crunchy biscuits – Apricot, Hazelnuts and Choc Chip. They offer a fruity, extra nutty or chocolaty option as part of your breakfast experience which adds to your choices! We are no strangers to belVita Breakfast biscuits as we often buy them as the wrapped portions make it easy to bring out for food on the go. Early this year, we had also tried their milk & cereals biscuits, fruit & fibre and yogurt crunch. Do check out my tips for having a smooth morning routine.

belVita Breakfast are the only breakfast biscuits proven to slowly release carbohydrates over four hours as part of a balanced breakfast (a portion of fruit, a serving of dairy, a drink to hydrate and belVita Breakfast biscuits). They also contains at least five wholegrain, rich in cereals, a source of fibre and contain a selection of vitamins.

I like to make breakfast fun by giving my children the opportunity to be creative with their food. So I gave them a tube of Primula Kids Cheese, a mini box of smarties and chocolate chips in various sizes to decorate their belVita Breakfast biscuits. These are what my son, Mr K created. It was supposed to be a ladybird with spots but sadly Mr C thinks it looks like hedgehog. We also have a beautiful butterfly to go along with the ladybird.

What do we think about belVita Breakfast? They are flavoursome and delicious! My son loves the chocolate chip as he is a chocolate monster who just loves chocolate! Mr C and I like them all. Ms C is not a massive fan here.

The belVita Breakfast biscuits are very crunchy and it new flavours have definitely given us more choices to choose from. We would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Disclosure: We have received the samples for the purposes of doing this challenge, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

Would never have thought of using the cheese like that but it makes the biscuits more fun and probably easier to eat as they are quite dry.
