Zack & Quack Twitter Post Party

11 February 2014 by Eileen

Another great Twitter Party hosted by UKMumstv! All the children had fun making their junk modelling. I was very impressed with the children’s craft skills. Look at their beautiful creations: car, a cat, a girl, a gold fish and a house!

Later, we all went to the première screening of Zack & Quack on the Nick Jr. channel. Nick Jr is available on Sky 165, Virgin 715, through BT Vision and TalkTalk channel 318. Each show is about 10 minutes long. All the children loved the show. Mr K loved it and wanted to watch it again. He loves making junk modelling and now he had so much of ideas of what to do next!

After the show, they all had their tea and finished off with icing the cookie, doing wordsearch and their activity sheets. They all had so much of fun. Thanks to UKMumstv and Nick Jr. for such a fun and unusual party.

[…] Junk modelling is a great way to encourage children to be creative and upcycle materials to build/design an item. Using boxes and cardboard tubes along with kitchen foil to create your own robot. This is what Mr K created by drawing on a flat box. […]
