OXO Good Grips Flip & Fold Omelet Turner Review

1 December 2013 by Eileen

I always love kitchen gadgets that help to make cooking easier.  This OXO Good Grips Flip & Fold Omelet Turner is perfect for making omelets.  I always found it hard to use a flat wooden spatula to glide around the egg or turn the omelet around.  The rim of the omelet tends to stick on the wooden spatula and it is hard to flip the whole omelet with a small spatula.

We used it today and were very impressed with it.  It has a flexible silicone head which allows it to turn and glide easily under the entire omelet.  The head is heat resistant up to 315°C and is safe for non-stick cookware and is dishwasher safe.  The handle is comfortable and easy to flip or fold omelets.

Besides flipping and folding the omelet, it is firm enough to be able to cut the omelet to your desired size.  We also used it to lift out and transfer the omelet onto the plate.

Now I will be able to cook a perfect omelet instead of it looking like scrambled egg. It is also ideal to use for making quesadillas.  I would highly recommend them!  They are one of the best gadget!

Disclosure: We have received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

This looks great – I like making omelettes but they always turn out a mess when I try to turn them!

This is one of those gadgets that you don’t realise you need until you get one and then you wonder what you ever did without it
