Sheep in the Microwave!

24 November 2013 by Eileen

What will you do if you found a sheep inside a microwave? Not too worry! This is definitely not animal cruelty. In fact, Shaun the Sheep is a microwavable neck wrap. Feeling cold while watching telly or having neck ache while at work? This is an ideal gift for your loved one. It is a true winter essential if you need something warm to cuddle during the cold winter months.

Shaun the Sheep Neck Wrap

Shaun is a very cuddly animal and inside it’s body is infused with millet seeds and dried lavender. Outside, the surface of the body and tail is furry. The face, all 4 limbs and tail are stuffed with cotton. The limbs are long enough to wrap around your neck. Shaun is so cute that my daughter refused to give it to Mr C. She kept thinking why daddy would want to put a stuffed toy over his neck. They both had been fighting over who would keep Shaun!

Shaun is quite a big ram that I have to place him on a big plate before I microwave him. It takes just 90 seconds to two minutes to warm him up (depend on the rating of your microwave). Once heated, Shaun is slightly moist and so is the plate. I let the water vapour escape for a minute before my husband placed it over his neck. The lavender scent immediately swirls around the face to provide warmth and relaxation. The warmth lasted a good length time of about 30-40 minutes before needing another burst from the microwave. My husband loves it as it keeps his neck feeling very cosy and he is able to concentrate on his work not feeling cold. Shaun is very easy to look after as it can be surface cleaned with a damp sponge. This is definitely a great Christmas gift for Winter time.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
