Review myvitamins Bundle

23 November 2013 by Eileen

Keeping my family healthy is always my number one priority. I supplement our diets with vitamins and minerals. This time around, I picked an Active Kids Omega 3 for my children, Total Krill Oil for myself and Joint Plus MSM for Mr C. Each packet of myvitamins come in a zip lock that allows you seal the vitamins securely. They can be store neatly in your handbag but you must be careful with children as you won’t want them to think it is a pack of sweets.

Review myvitamins Bundle

Active Kids Omega 3 Chewy

Omega 3 is one of the most popular supplements consumed today, which is due to the lack of this in commonly consumed diets. Deficiencies have also been associated with asthma, heart disease and learning deficiencies, this further highlighting the importance of Omega 3 intake for kids. Mr K took it quite well as it is orange flavour. Once chewed, the gel bursts out from the capsule. The capsule is quite hard to chew but easy to swallow. This is suitable for children over 3 years old, and consuming 2 softgels per day. Each packet contains 90 softgels. The RRP is £8.99 so each softgel costs only £0.09 which is well priced.

Total Krill Oil

Total Krill Oil is the premium source of Omega 3 for those looking to improve their overall health and wellbeing.  It also has a natural inclusion of a potent antioxidant known as Astaxanthin. As an antioxidant, Astaxanthin can help the body fight everyday pollutants which can promote free radical activity in the body, another stand out benefit compared to fish oil. I have this for myself. It comes in a red softgels. The softgels have a very strong fishy smell.  But they are good for my health! Each packet contains 60 softgels and it is recommended to consume 1 to 2 softgels per day. The RRP is £14.29 so each softgel works out at £0.23.

Joint Plus MSM

MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) is a naturally occurring sulphur which is thought to help in the maintenance of healthy joints. Mr C is always complaining that his joints are stiff so this will definitely suit him. It comes in an oval shaped tablet which is quite easy to swallow. Take 1 tablet 3 times per day to maintain healthy joints. Each packet contain 90 tablets which will last for a month. The RRP is £7.99 so each softgel costs only £0.09.

They are all made in the UK. I love the fact that it is supporting British and cutting down the carbon footprint with the packaging.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
