Dazzling Princess Game Review

20 October 2013 by Eileen

Do you have a princess who loves dress up or loves Disney Princesses? This Dazzling Princess Game will definitely make a great game for them, promoting puzzle-solving, play acting and imagination. It comes with 4 tiaras, 4 bracelets, 4 rings, 40 gems, 200 cards, 1 big heart jewel and the instruction manual. This is a quick and easy game to play. It is suitable for 4 years old and above and for 2 – 4 players.

Dazzling Princess Game Review

In order to play this game, the players must have some knowledge of Disney princesses or have watched the Disney movies. The game is based on Cinderella, Ariel, Tiana, Pocahontas, Belle, Mulan, Rapunzel, Merida, Aurora, Jasmine and Snow White. The aim of the game is to try to guess which princess is on the card and collect gems to dress up and sparkle your way to the grand ball with tiaras, bracelets and rings.  The cards can be scenes or characters from the movies or require the player to pretend to be the princess. Each player will get a chance to decorate with any gems of their choice when they guess the correct answer. I love how the cards are obscured by the secret patterns. Only the use of the big heart jewel card reader will decode the message on the card.

Ms C is a big fan of Disney Princesses so she is extremely happy to play this. On the other hand, Mr K likes his action heroes but was a good sport to play along and dress up in his sister’s fancy dress too. This game is definitely more suited to girls.

The Tiaras are hairbands that are easy to wear. The rings and bracelets are soft and flexible. They are comfortable to wear across any sizes hand as they will cling on the hand nicely. Ms C and Mr K had no problems putting the gems on or off the jewellery. The game ends when the first player completely fills up their tiara, bracelet and ring with gems. This game will be popular when I have a girl sleepover! Every girls would love to be a princess and decorate their own jewellery. Of course, this game is not just limited to a guessing game, the jewellery can be used for dress up / role play too! This game can be purchase at all good toy stores, as well as nationwide retailers such as Argos, Toys’R’Us, Sainsbury’s and Amazon for a retail price of only £19.99.

My 5 year old loves princesses but I’m not sure she knows them all. This would be nice for a present.
