Cinnamon Sugar Puff Pastry and Stick

19 October 2013 by Eileen

After reading Jenny Leonard 5 minutes cinnamon whirls blog post, she inspired me to make one too.  But I instead made up something even quicker!  This is a very lazy recipe and requires less ingredients.

Cinnamon Sugar Puff Pastry and Stick method

I bought this Cinnamon Sugar grinder from B&M and frozen puff pastry at supermarket.  This also requires butter and baking paper.

Roll out the defrosted puff pastry (I had defrosted for 24 hours) and brush melted butter on the pastry. Grind the cinnamon sugar on to the pastry. Cut the pastry into your preferred shapes. I went for a mix of 1 cm and 2 cm strips, twists and buns.

I baked the strips at 180 degree for 20 minutes while the twists and buns took slightly longer at 25 minutes. These Cinnamon Sugar Puff Pastry and Stick are so simple and gorgeous to eat.
