Hotter Shoes Gravity Review

Getting the right pair of shoes is one of the most important things to start any journey! Recently, I had to make an unexpected trip with my daughter, and luckily I have received this pair of Hotter Shoes – Gravity, just in time to start our long journey to Singapore! I am a big Hotter shoe fan as I have already owned many pairs of their shoes. Also, I have always been aware that Hotter make really comfy and durable shoes.

Winter Skate in Birmingham Review

If you are coming down to Birmingham to do your shopping or to visit the Frankfurt Christmas Market, why not pop by to the Winter Skate. They are open for a limited of time only, until 5 January 2014, every day from 10 am to 10 pm.
This morning, we were all so excited to don our ice skating boots as the children had never tried it before and it had been over 20 years ago that Mr C and I were last on the ice.

Trunki Quinn Ride-on Suitcase Review

I always want to have a Trunki since they launched 6 years ago but our children were too young to own one at the time (Suitable for aged 3 – 6 years old). Finally, we bought our first Trunki Quinn Ride-on Suitcase in 2011. It is Trunki’s 5th birthday limited edition case, with only 5000 being made. It is a big hit with both of my children.
We took it with us to Singapore as hand luggage. It is not suitable for check-in luggage. I had packed some of their books, favourite bears, toys, snacks, baby wipes and some spare clothing and there was still plenty of room. There is a secret compartment on the side but it is too small to be practical, perhaps storing a few sweets. The main compartment is not very easy to open or close by children, which I made a plus point for us otherwise the children would be constantly playing with the that and the lock.
Waiting in the check-in queue turned out to be fun for the kids as they could sit and ride-on the trunki. Looking around the terminal, we were amazed but not surprised that there are so many other families using trunki!
It is made from lightweight and durable plastic. It is easy to pull them around but not great to corner as the wheels are in-line and do not turn. We therefore found it quite hard to steer. We got around this by re-positioning the case in the direction of travel if we wanted to change direction. The children enjoyed riding by themselves by holding on the horns and charging around.
The multi-functional carry-tow strap comes with a plastic key to lock the luggage. The strap keeps coming off from the hook after some time. I contacted customer services and within few days they sent us a replacement. Excellent customer service! They replace any faulty parts for life!
