If you have been following my series of Chinese New Year blog posts, you may have seen that I mentioned Spring cleaning. We have to clean the house before the New Year to wash away the bad luck and welcome good fortune into our home. There is one traditional that I still believe in which is we are not suppose to sweep/mop/clean the floor during Chinese New Year day as it will sweep away all the good fortune.
