As a blogger, I take many photos and so I regularly look for new and better ways of making my photos stand out. One of the ways I like to do that is to make a pic collage for my blog for readers to pin via pinterest.
I have been using the free version of the Fotor since I started blogging particularly for the collage feature. If you have not heard of Fotor, it is an online photo editing suite utilising exclusive technology to give you an unprecedented level of editing control. It’s really easy to get started. From the homepage, you have three choices – Edit, Collage and Design.
Edit provides photo editing tools with basics such as: 1-tap enhance, resize, crop, rotate and straighten, it also has many unique features. There are a huge range of filters and effects to allow you to really enhance your photos, including photo effects, lomo effects, cool effects, funky effects, blur effect and webcam effects. You can add photo frames, stickers, text, colour splash, mosaic, and there are tilt shift tools too. I love to use this feature to watermark the photo and to adjust the brightness and contrast of the photo especially during winter when lighting is harder to get right first time.
Sometimes you need to express more feeling than a single image can contain, so the Collage feature allows you to do just that. A well designed collage can tell a story, share some special feelings and even capture a person’s life. These are a couple of collages that I whipped up in a matter of minutes, using the Classic Collage and also the Artistic Collage:
The third option from the homepage is Design. This new option lets you design Twitter covers, You Tube channel art, Facebook covers, Google+ covers, graphic design or even a photo montage. There is even tool that gives you the ability to make amazing Instagram posts, Facebook posts, photo cards and posters with the new poster maker!
This is a great tool with powerful but easy to use features for everyone, including beginners who just want to enhance their photos, to social media experts and experienced bloggers. Why not check it out and take your photos to the next level!
