I can’t believe my daughter is going to be six next month and she has been to writing out a long list for her birthday wish list. If money was not a problem for her, she would probably buy the whole toy shop plus a few pets like dogs, cat and ponies! She is a charming and persistent girl who would trick you to buying her presents. Hence I hardly take them to toy stores and prefer to shop online! Last time, for my birthday outing, I inexplicably bought her a My Little Pony castle and it was not on sale! So I try to shop online for toys as much as possible. I need to try to be more sensible and not be influenced by the children!
Having an older brother who is into his superheroes, Ms C has inevitably been influenced by him in some of the toys she plays with. As the second child, she always get the hand-me-down toys from Mr K but not his action figures. Mr K is still very much into all the superheroes especially the Avengers. Some of you might have seen the post about his bedroom wall, with the gigantic Avengers poster! So she is hoping to get some action figures for herself.
Next she wants the range of My Little Pony merchandise. Ever since we had the My Little Pony movie and the app, she have been wanting to have a couple of My Little Pony’s toys. Now I have to keep my eyes online!
One of Ms C’s wish list is to have a pet. She has always wanted one since our hamster James died a year ago. She was so upset and since then both children have been pestering us to get them one. Their list of pets are getting longer and longer. First, they want a hamster, then a guinea pig, rabbit, dog, cat and pony.
Well, I think Mr C and I would prefer to get them toys rather than a real pet. It is hard work to own a pet and we are definitely not ready for that. Hopefully in the future when we have more time on our hands!
We are so looking forward to Ms C’s birthday party now. Not long to plan!

I hope she has a great birthday! My two always seem to get their Dad to buy them things when they go shopping, it is definitely safer to stick to online!
