4 Awesome Items for Your Home

22 April 2015 by Eileen

How often do you update your home? We do make a conscious effort to look for new or upcycle furnishings and accessories to keep our home looking fresh, warm and welcoming. I often find that shopping on the high street with children can often mean the shopping trip is less productive if the aim is just to shop. So I often turn to websites or recommendations by other bloggers or research some great finds from magazines.

I also pop by to Red Candy website for inspiration when looking for gifts! They have many unique and quirky items. These are my 4 awesome items for your home.

4 Awesome Items for Your Home

This amazing Rainy Pot is filled with functionality. It is also makes an eye-catching feature for your wall. This handy self-watering flower pot ensures that your house plants are given the right amount of water. The Rainy Pot consists of a cloud-shaped container with five small holes at its base, positioned above a funky red flower pot. The cloud pot holds a small amount of water which is gradually released in a small rain shower over your plants, mimicking natural rainfall. This raindrop effect ensures that your house plants receive the perfect amount of water and eradicates under/over watering.

Next is this Red Knife Block that creates a sanctuary for your knives from Zone Denmark. This thermoplastic rubber tubular stand houses a polypropylene insert that allows you to push any knife through and holds it nice and firmly in place. The insert is washable and I did a quick wash and only one insert fell off. This block is a brilliant way to add colour to any counter top and it can house many knives. I was able to place 8 different shapes and sizes of knives in it! The third item is the Koziol A-Pril Party Set! These are so vibrant in colour and complete with a stylish tree-shaped holder. This funky party set comes with eight transparent cocktail sticks, which are dishwasher safe. They are great for my food presentation!

The final item is this Hamster Fixie Bike Outlet wall sticker! This playful wall sticker makes the plug sockets and light switches look extra special. They are ideal for any room in the house! Do check out Red Candy website for more funky and quirky household items!

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

I’d actually looked at the rainy pot after seeing on an advert. Great fun but genius idea, especially for those among us who kill houseplants for fun ***cough*** cough
The knife block is interesting as no worry about right holes it seems to fit a lot of knives in and is quite funky but very functional.
The reusable party set is great for a family or any household in fact.
The sticker isn’t my cup of tea but I do like it for kids rooms, something fun.
Red Candy is full of fun things. Even though this is from ages ago it’s still relevant now for fun quirky things ☺
