WooWee Untamed Raptors Review

7 April 2018 by Eileen

WooWee Untamed Raptors are the latest cool toy creatures from the makers of Fingerlings. Just like the Fingerlings Baby Monkey that we had reviewed before, these creatures are a bunch of adorable robotic dinos that simply wrap their claws around your finger, or you can hang them anywhere you like! They will interact with you and will show you affection once you have earned their trust. They are fiercely loyal, and will happily roar, hiss and chomp to scare off your enemies.

There are four different characters to collect including Blaze (orange), Stealth (green), Fury (blue) and Razor (purple)! We are lucky to have Stealth to try out! My 8 year old, Ms C, really loves him a lot and has been chatting with him! She does find Stealth too heavy to wrap around her fingers and prefers him to sit next to her while she plays. It’s nice that by repositioning his tail upwards, he can sit sturdily on flat surfaces!

There is an on/off switch on the back of his head that allows you to turn him off whenever you want and it requires 4 LR44 batteries, which are included. It is very well made with moveable head, neck, mouth, eyes and tail. Impressively, there are over 40 different sounds and animations! Using various strokes, taps, sounds, poke or even hanging them upside down, they will roar, hiss, snore or make whatever noise they fancy but treat them with care and they will be your friend, be unkind and they will display their anger with ferocious roars!

Ms C loves playing with Stealth. He is an inexpensive interactive baby dino toy that is great for keeping children entertained. My nephew is a big fan of dinosaurs and Untamed Raptors will be the perfect toy for him! It will definitely be a hit after the success of Fingerlings! These Untamed Raptors are available now from good toy retailers and online! So which one will you choose or will you collect them all?
