Amazing! Magazine was founded in 2014 and is a high-quality educational magazine for primary school aged children 6 – 11. Each issue is 36 pages long and covers core curriculum subjects, including Maths, English, History, Geography, Science, Art, Languages and PSHE subjects.
This is our first time checking out this magazine and we have already learned a lot from it! Each page is filled with beautiful illustrations and brilliantly written articles. The content is easy to understand by children and it is not overly filled with big words or complex concepts that make it difficult to comprehend.
In this issue 33, we have uncovered some fantastic facts about our oceans and their deepest secrets! Did you know that Anicent Egyptian city Canopus and nearby town Thonis had crashed into the sea over 1,000 years ago? It was in 2000, archaeologist Frank Goddio finally found them and rescued over 300 objects from under the seabed sand!
Besides learning, children get to do fun puzzles, art & craft and enter competitions! Mr K was so eager to win some LEGO so we entered via email. Also I love that they have a Life Skills page that offers advice and tips against bully. It is always one of the biggest concern for parents.
This magazine focuses on interesting and comprehensive facts that entice children to read. It is well laid out, fun to read and should appeal to children. I would recommend them to parents with primary school aged children.
